National 3-day Prayer & Fast begins today, April 10, 2022

Recognising that it was through prayers that the Virgin Islands was able to overcome its many challenges over generations to blossom into a jewel of the Caribbean, the territory has been called upon to engage in a National 3-day Prayer and Fast today, April 10, 2022.

Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie (R1) extended the invitation at a press conference on Friday, April 8, 2022.

“Now with the hurricane season upon us, the ongoing challenges that have been and continue to be experienced in many facets, the potential challenges of the CoI, among many other challenges, as a people we must now Pray to GOD without ceasing for HIS WILL alone to be done for these Virgin Islands,” Premier Fahie stated.

Unity in strength


He added that during the heightened phase of the pandemic the VI Government joined Prayer Warriors in calling for National Prayer and Fast at different times.

“Now we do the same one more time as from Sunday, 10 April, 2022, to Tuesday, 12 April, 2022.

"We are coming together for three days in unity as there is strength and with GOD everything is possible. Remember we are in this together and together we will rise stronger and better than ever before."

The Premier also used the opportunity to thank those who continue to “Pray without ceasing, for GOD'S WILL alone” be done for the present and future generations of the Virgin Islands.
