‘No one else was injured’ in Parhman Town shooting- RVIPF

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has confirmed that no one else was injured in the shooting that claimed the life of Mr Yan Edwards on February 6, 2023.

The RVIPF, in a press release today, February 7, 2023, also confirmed that the deceased has been identified as Mr Edwards.

It said initial investigations have revealed that Mr Edwards, 42 of Long Look, was seated outside a business establishment at Parham Town, East End around 6:00 PM when the shooting occurred.

“Edwards, who was wounded in the incident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“No one else was injured,” the RVIPF stated.

Officers of the Major Investigation Team are appealing to witnesses who could help to identify the assailant or assailants to contact Crime stoppers anonymously at 800-8477 or +1284 800-8477.
