Nyron Erickson to be extradited after failed appeal bid
Information just reaching BVI News is that former fugitive from justice, Nyron Erickson, will now be extradited to the United States of America following a failed bid before the High Court to thwart that move.
In a judgment issued by High Court Justice Richard Floyd, it was noted that although Erickson’s constitutional right to liberty and security had been breached in his confinement, “his detention is for the purpose of extradition, and follows the lawful procedure authorised by the 2016 Order, which is the applicable extradition legislation.”
