One charged as police continue to probe VG burglaries

Officers of the Virgin Gorda Policing Division are progressing their investigations in identifying the person or persons responsible for the recent upsurge in burglaries in Virgin Gorda.
Since June 2022, Police have recorded five burglaries mainly of residences on the island. Earlier in week, Damien Farrell, 30, was identified and charged as the perpetrator in the burglary of one residence where $4,600 in cash was taken in late June.

He was also charged with stealing $1,400 from a parked vehicle in early July.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is asking anyone with information on the identity of the perpetrators to telephone the RVIPF via its three-digit access number 311 or call the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339.
