One Mart Sends Some Staff Home After COVID-19 Symptoms Surface

One Mart Supercenter has reported three staff members have been tested for COVID-19 after showing symptoms of the virus.
The well-patronized business belonging to legislator Hon. Mark Vanterpool located in Purcell Estate, Tortola, issued a statement on their social media page earlier today, June 28, alerting residents of the development.

The statement said the three staff members reported symptoms of the dreaded COVID-19 and are awaiting results to tests they conducted on Sunday.

The statement added, “As a result, management recommends that until those results are known, all unvaccinated staff remain quarantined at home for the safety of other staff, the safety of themselves, and our customers. We take such precautions until further notice.”

This comes on the heels of a Public Health advisory urging residents who visited four clubs – Island Sizzle, Club Deuces, Club Crystals and Club Aqua – on June 18 and 20, respectively, to self-isolate until they are tested for the virus and cleared.
