One murder, 2 ‘unexplained deaths’ in first two months of 2021

One murder, 2 ‘unexplained deaths’ in first two months of 2021

Although the police have processed three scenes involving deceased persons, the BVI has only recorded one official murder since the start of 2021.
The death being treated as a murder at this time is Earl ‘Bob’ Hodge, the victim of a shooting incident in Hannah’s Estate on Tuesday night, February 9.

But the other two deaths recorded last Friday are being described by the cops as “unexplained deaths” as detectives are still carrying out investigations and are “not ready to draw conclusions”.

Last week, the BVI was rocked with news that Rodney Simmonds, Sr of Threadfall and Andrew Skeritt of Carrot Bay were found dead.

“Simmonds was found and pronounced dead at his home in Threadfalls while the body of Skerritt was found and pronounced dead at his home in Carrot Bay,” the RVIPF reported.

The police communications unit told BVI News investigations are ongoing in all three matters.
