Panama reports 129 new COVID-19 cases and 7 deaths in 24 hours

There are currently a total of 459,851 patients recovered from coronavirus in Panama.
13 October, 2021 – after reporting a total of 129 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, Panama raised its number of infections to 469,569, according to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health.

Meanwhile, 7 new deaths were reported, and 1 death from previous dates is updated, totaling 7,283 deaths due to this virus in the country. The fatality rate remains at 1.5%.

5,176 new tests were carried out to detect COVID-19, for a percentage of positivity of 2.4%.

There are a total of 459,851 recovered and 2,435 active cases.

Of the total active cases, 2,223 people are in isolation, of which 2,126 are at home and 97 in hotels; while 212 patients are hospitalized, of them 169 in the ward and 43 in intensive care.

Despite the fact that Panama is in the process of vaccination against COVID-19, the use of masks continues to be essential as they represent protection above 80%.

Maybe it's time for the scientist doctors from Panama to follow the real scientific data out of India and follow their system. 270 million people and just about no deaths. I am guessing India really wants to help their people and not just make big pharma rich
