Pedestrian pepper-sprayed & arrested for allegedly breaking curfew

Information coming into Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) is that a pedestrian was on Friday, July 30, 2021, arrested for breaching the curfew and pepper-sprayed after reportedly failing to obey police orders.
Sources said the man was walking along the public road at Fat Hog's Bay, heading towards Long Swamp around 7:30 pm when he was spotted by an officer and told to stop.

It is being alleged that upon refusal to stop, the man was then pepper-sprayed, arrested and taken to the East End Police Station.
