Former Canadian fashion mogul Peter Nygard, aged 83, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison after being found guilty of four counts of sexual assault.
The assaults took place in his Toronto office building, with some incidents dating back decades.
Nygard will serve approximately 6.7 years after accounting for time already spent behind bars and will be eligible for full parole after serving one-third of this remaining time.
The sentencing follows testimony from five complainants in a six-week trial.
Nygard also faces additional charges in Manitoba, Quebec, and the United States, where he is accused of sex trafficking and other related crimes.
