Philippe Leroy wins gold @ Pan Am Masters Cycling C/ships in Colombia

The [British] Virgin Islands has struck gold in Colombia!

Veteran cyclist Philippe Leroy captured the gold medal at the Pan American Masters Cycling Championship in the city of Barrancabermeja today, Friday, November 11, 2022.

Competing in the Men’s D1 (60-64) Category, Leroy recorded a time of 29 minutes and 04.27 seconds for first place.

Second was Colombia’s Gerardo Moncada in 29:52.63 while third was Fernando’s Al Grajales, also of Colombia, in 29:54.87.

20 master cyclists, including from Mexico, competed in the Men’s D1 Category race.

Competing in the Men’s D1 (60-64) Category in Colombia, Philippe Leroy recorded a time of 29 minutes and 04.27 seconds for first place.

Mere seconds separated the top three finishers of the Masters D1 race at the Pan American Masters Cycling Championships in Colombia on November 11, 2022.
