Police charge second man from January’s 200 kilo cocaine find
A second man has been charged in connection to a police operation that resulted in the seizure of more than 200 kilos of cocaine back in January.
Twenty-eight-year-old East End resident, Shaun Massicott is charged for possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply and being concerned with the supply of a controlled drug.
“He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Friday and was offered bail. Devon Bedford had been previously charged in the matter,” the police said in a media statement on Thursday.
During an operation in the Brandywine Bay area of Tortola on January 19, officers of the police intercepted a rental vehicle, searched it, and uncovered a large quantity of cocaine.
A subsequent search of a second vehicle uncovered a smaller quantity of cocaine. A boat was also seized as part of that operation.
