Police investigating burglary on Sugarcane Restaurant on VG
Police on Virgin Gorda are said to be investigating reports of burglary on Sugarcane Restaurant in Nail Bay.
According to reports, a number of cheques have so far been reported missing.
The business establishment was discovered broken into something around 7:00am today August 13, 2020 when the first employee arrived for work.
It is alleged that the office area was discovered broken into and drawers and desks ransacked but only a few cheques which were stored away were missing.
Police are currently on the scene conducting investigations.
Our newsroom was told the incident will not interrupt the opening of the restaurant today.
