Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon. Andrew Fahie is in the United Kingdom (UK) attending the annual Overseas Territories (OT) Joint Ministerial Council (JMC), the first in-person meeting since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In his absence, Deputy Premier Hon. Natalio 'Sowande' Wheatley will act as Premier from November 13 to 22.
Director of Communications Dr. Arliene T. Penn informed that during the UK trip, Hon.
Fahie will meet with the new Overseas Territories Minister, The Right Honourable Amanda Milling, and other UK Ministers and OT Leaders for discussions on areas such as sustainable development,
COVID-19, VI-UK relations, economic resilience, post-Brexit matters, the environment and climate change, among others.
