Public invited to Praise Intervention @ Festival Grounds this evening

With two recent fatal shootings amidts the continued threat of COVID-19 in the Virgin Islands, urgent divine intervention is being sought to heal the land.

This will come in the form of a concert dubbed Praise Intervention from 6:30m today, Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Festival Grounds in Road Town.

Admission is free


Admission is free to the event organised by BH Live Arrangements headed by local musician Brent D. R. Hoyte and will see items of praise by a number of local gospel artiste, including Gabrielle Denae, Jovan E.L. Cline, Deondre Liburd, and Mr Hoyte.

The public is invited to Praise Intervention, which will also feature High Frequency Band and DJ Entertainment by C Praise.

“We are doing Praise Intervention so God could be with us and hear our prayers and our cries,” Mr Hoyte told our newsroom, highlighting the recent gun murders and that lives continue to also be lost to COVID-19.

Praise Intervention has been organised by BH Live Arrangements headed by local musician Brent D. R. Hoyte.


Deputy Speaker sponsors Praise Intervention


The sponsor of Praise Intervention is Deputy Speaker and At Large Representative Hon Neville A. Smith, who continues to encourage and support the territory’s youth to engage in positive activities.

Praise Intervention was preceded by Worship Intervention in 2021.

During lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Mr Hoyte had several online praise parties which were well supported by the public.
