Putin Warns Trump of Ongoing Safety Concerns

Russian President Expresses Concern Over Threats to Trump
In Astana, Kazakhstan, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised U.S. President-elect Donald Trump as an experienced and intelligent politician but expressed concerns about Trump's safety following assassination attempts.

In July, Trump was injured during an attempt on his life in Pennsylvania, and in September, a man was charged with attempted assassination at one of Trump's Florida golf courses.

Putin, speaking after a summit, criticized the U.S. election campaign's 'uncivilised methods', noting repeated assassination attempts.

He described criticism of Trump's family during the campaign as 'revolting' and unheard of even among criminals in Russia.

Putin also remarked on the Biden administration's decisions regarding the Ukraine conflict, suggesting they might complicate Trump's future dealings with Russia.

Despite these challenges, Putin believed Trump would 'find the solution' and expressed Moscow's readiness for dialogue.
