Putin bent on full scale invasion, says PM
Boris Johnson announces that the 'first barrage' of sanctions against Russia are on the way.
After Russia ordered troops into two breakaway regions of eastern Ukraine, Boris Johnson has said that Vladimir Putin is bent on a "full scale invasion of the country".
The prime minister also warned that the "first barrage" of sanctions, targeting the economic interests of Russia, are on the way.
Russia says the troops will perform "peacekeeping functions", which the US has said is "nonsense".
