$$ raised allegedly stolen from JvD Primary School

The hard work and time put into raising funds for the Jost van Dyke Primary School seem to have been for nothing as the monies accumulated have since gone missing.
Reports reaching our newsroom from sources at the school have indicated that the sum of $1,100, which was raised via a fundraising event for the school, was stolen between the afternoon of February 15 and the morning of February 16, 2021.

It is our information the money was secured in a cash pan in a drawer of the Principal’s desk.

It was during the morning of February 16, 2021, when the Principal entered the school’s resource centre where her office is currently located that the discovery was made.

Upon entering her office, the Principal allegedly immediately noticed the drawer was open and, upon investigating, discovered all the money gone.

The drawer was allegedly damaged in the process of the burglary.
