To obtain their decals drivers can visit the DMV Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:30 pm.

Drivers are required to:

*  Take their vehicle(s) to the DMV to have the Gold Seal decal placed

*  Present Gold Seal Certificate

Drivers are reminded that their vehicle(s) must have a protective barrier that separates the driver’s seat from passenger seating. This should be a clear plastic or plexiglass barrier with a small square opening for collecting fares.

Director of Tourism, Clive McCoy commented, “I am very pleased with the number of taxi drivers who took advantage of the opportunity to receive the training that provides information on the highest standards of safety and sanitation needed to mitigate the spread of Covid-19”. He added, “There is no doubt that the drivers who are receiving the Gold Seal decal can safely operate confidently while protecting residents and guests alike”.

The Gold Seal Covid-19 Industry Training is mandatory for all stakeholders.
