Rikkoi A.R. Brathwaite successfully defends Big Ten Conference title

Defending Big10 Conference Champion Rikkoi A. R. Brathwaite of the [British] Virgin Islands successfully defended his Big Ten Conference Title yesterday, Saturday, February 26, 2022.

The Virgin Islander blazed a 6.57 second run in the finals of the Men’s Indoor 60m in Geneva, Ohio.

Brathwaite currently ranks as the 5th fastest collegian in the 60m.

He will now compete in his final collegiate indoor competition at the NCAA Indoor Championships slated for March 11-12, 2022 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.

The Senior at Indiana University is a bronze medallist of the NCAA 2021 Indoor Championships.

Brathwaite also holds a VIs qualifier for the World Indoor Championships slated for March 18- 20, 2022, in Belgrade, Serbia.
