NBA's D'Moi Hodge Returns to the Virgin Islands.
(PLTM) - D'Moi Hodge, a rising star in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and a proud son of
the Virgin Islands, returned home after being contracted by the LA Lakers.
Hodge arrived by ferry on July 22 and was welcomed by a cheering crowd at the Road Town Ferry terminal.
The hero's welcome was attended by Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. Natalio Wheatley, and Hon.
Melvin 'Mitch' Turnbull, the representative for the Second District, where Hodge hails from.
A motorcade was also organized to celebrate Hodge's return.
Hodge's achievement is a source of pride for
the Virgin Islands, and his return is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the game of basketball.
His success is an inspiration to many young people in the territory, who can now see that they too can achieve their dreams with determination and perseverance.
