Rotary Club of Central Tortola gifts some 220 children for holidays

The Rotary Club of Central Tortola continues to make its impact felt in the Virgin Islands (VI) community, with the latest being the gifting of toys to over 200 children on Tortola.
Coming on the heels of its Christmas Tree light-up on November 25, 2022, and various Early Bird Drawings of $1000 for its Annual Car Raffle, the Rotary Club of Central Tortola brought Christmas cheer to some 220 children, ages 3-8, at Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

It was a very merry scene, as the children received their gifts on a first come basis.

Club pleased to fulfill wishes of children- Mohamed

President of the Rotary Club of Central Tortola Mr Shan Mohamed said the club was pleased to be able to fulfill the wishes of so many children.

"This year the Rotary Club of Central Tortola is delighted to continue to touch the lives of families across the territory," Mr Mohamed commented.

He added that toys mean a lot to children during this season and the Rotary Club of Central Tortola was delighted to come through for them.

"That is what we were able to do, fulfill the wishes of children for Christmas," Mr Mohamed said.
