Jordan Bardella: Young Far-Right Leader Poised for Future Political Influence in France

Jordan Bardella, now 28, rapidly ascended through France’s National Rally thanks to strategic positioning by Marine Le Pen. Bardella, born to an Italian immigrant mother, has leveraged social media to bolster the party’s anti-immigration platform, despite past controversies. His leadership symbolizes the National Rally’s efforts to rebrand.
Jordan Bardella, now 28, joined France's National Front at 16 and rose rapidly within the party.

In 2022, Marine Le Pen appointed him as leader of the National Rally (RN) to focus on her 2027 presidential campaign.

Bardella, born in Seine-Saint-Denis to an Italian immigrant mother, dropped out of the Sorbonne to pursue politics full-time.

He was vice president and one of the youngest MEPs in history.

With 1.5 million TikTok followers, Bardella uses social media to connect with youth, promoting RN's anti-immigration stance.

Despite accusations of past racist and homophobic tweets, Bardella remains a significant figure in France's far-right politics.
