Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump asserted on Tuesday that the United States needs to withdraw from the ongoing war in Ukraine, criticizing Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden for lacking a plan to end the conflict.

Speaking at a rally in Georgia, Trump claimed that the current administration had involved the U.S. in the Ukraine war and emphasized his ability to negotiate a withdrawal if elected president.

Despite the U.S. not having troops in Ukraine, it has provided billions of dollars in military and humanitarian aid to the nation.

Trump criticized Biden's stance of not leaving the war until victory is achieved and expressed doubts about the potential outcomes.
