RTW Group says Fabuloso Products @ stores not affected by recall

RTW Group of Companies which includes Roadtown Wholesale Trading Ltd, Riteway Food Markets, Fine Foods, Harbor Market, and Riteway Home is notifying the general public of the immediate recall of Fabuloso Products, however, noting that the recall does not affect product batch supplied to RTW group.

The company added that yesterday in cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, Colgate United States and Colgate Canada announced a voluntary recall in the United States and Canada of certain Fabuloso products manufactured in the United States between December 14, 2022, and January 23, 2023.

This recall is being made with the knowledge of the US Food and Drug Administration, “The recalled products in the United States and Canada do not contain the intended levels of preservatives to inhibit the growth of microorganisms. Therefore there is a risk of bacterial growth,” the release noted.

It added that the voluntary product recall only affects customers and consumers in the United States and Canada and that Fabuloso products supplied to the Puerto Rico market are not manufactured in the US production facility where the harvested product was produced.

Rightway Group added that if persons believe they may be affected by Public Health Alert, they can contact Roadtown Wholesale Group of Companies at 347-1050.

VI shipment tracked

The statement noted that Fabuloso for the VI market is produced in Mexico.

“In addition, after tracking our shipments of the collected product, we can confirm that Colgate did not ship any of the affected products to you; therefore, no action is required from you. We highly value the trust of our consumers and their families trust in our Fabuloso product and remain committed to maintaining the highest quality."

Rightway Group added that if persons believe they may be affected by Public Health Alert, they can contact Roadtown Wholesale Group of Companies at 347-1050.
