Russia Accuses Ukraine of Moscow Attack Involvement, US Dismisses Claims as Baseless

Russia claims it has evidence implicating Ukrainian nationalists in the recent attack on a concert hall outside Moscow, despite the Islamic State's admission of responsibility.
President Vladimir Putin, emphasizing ongoing allegations against Kyiv and the West, announced the detention of 11 individuals, stating their connections to Ukrainian nationalists were proven through financial transaction analyses and seized technical devices.

The United States, along with Ukraine and Western allies, has dismissed these accusations as ridiculous, with a US National Security Council spokesman likening Russian officials to dishonest salesmen.

The detention of additional suspects, believed to be funded by Ukraine, further complicates the narrative. Despite the Islamic State's claim to the attack, Russia points to the detained, visibly injured suspects from Tajikistan, attempting to link them to Ukraine, a claim questioned by Belarus' leader.

Meanwhile, President Putin, who paid his respects at a Moscow church, has made no plans to visit the victims' families or the attack site, prioritizing ongoing investigation efforts over public appearances.
