Russia Receives Iranian Ballistic Missiles for Use in Ukraine

Russia has received new short-range ballistic missiles from Iran for use in Ukraine, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed. This development has resulted in new sanctions on Iran from the US and Europe. Discussions continue on whether Ukraine will be permitted to use UK-supplied long-range missiles to strike deeper into Russian territory.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed in London that Russia has received short-range ballistic missiles from Iran, intended for use in Ukraine.

The news has led the US and European nations to impose new sanctions on Iran.

The debate continues on whether to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles supplied by the UK to strike deeper into Russian territory.

With new restrictions on Iran, US and European leaders, including President Joe Biden, are closely evaluating strategies to support Ukraine.

Germany, France, and the UK have condemned Iran's decision, warning of its threat to European security.

The Iranian missiles, Fath-360s, have ranges of 19 to 75 miles and are designed to carry 150kg warheads.

Despite Iran's denial of providing these weapons, their transfer marks a significant escalation in the conflict.

Discussions on future military support for Ukraine are set to continue between Western leaders.
