RVIPF seeks witnesses in Fort Hill fatal accident
Police are asking persons who were at the scene or provided care to the victim of the fatal accident on Fort Hill on January 19, 2023, to come forward and assist with the investigation.
According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), in a press release today, January 27, 2023, investigations indicate that while descending Fort Hill, a motorcyclist collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
The rider, Vincent Huggins, 19, of Hodge's Creek, received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital.
“Officers of the Road Policing Unit seek information from the persons who either witnessed the accident or rendered medical assistance at the scene,” the RVIPF stated.
It said information provided could be beneficial in the investigation.
