Premier Wheatley Praises Minister Rymer for Securing Non-Stop Flights from Miami

Premier Wheatley praises Communications and Works Minister Kye Rymer for securing non-stop flights from American Airlines between BVI and Miami.
Premier Dr Natalio Wheatley has commended Communications and Works Minister Kye Rymer for his efforts in securing non-stop flights from American Airlines between the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and Miami.

The Premier singled out Rymer for his tenacity, drive, and refusal to give up, stating that he deserves all the collective commendation for his excellent service on behalf of the people of the BVI.

The new route, which is a significant progress for the territory, will enhance the BVI's tourism product and make travel easier between the BVI and its diaspora in Miami.

The runway extension is also a priority for the government, and the Premier tasked Rymer with getting the Requests for Proposals out for the project.

The inaugural flight to the BVI from American Airlines was a historic moment for the territory, and the Premier expressed pride in being part of it, stating that it is a great deal of progress and is in the spirit of past BVI leaders such as H Lavity Stoutt.

The BVI Airports Authority Board, the Director of the BVI Airports Authority, and the BVI Tourist Board also played a role in ensuring the process went smoothly.

The Premier acknowledged their efforts and stated that they all worked together to achieve this great feat.

Overall, the Premier's remarks highlight the importance of teamwork and determination in achieving a common goal, and the recognition of Rymer's efforts is a testament to the impact of hard work and perseverance.
