Beware of the COVID-19 pandemic during holidays - Hon Smith

“My message is to tell everybody to be safe, always continue to love from a distance this time because we cannot hug and kiss like before”, he said.

Hon Smith said that while the territory is in a different time, people must still spread the love and joy this season while understanding that unity is key to overcoming the pandemic.

“We have to keep in mind that because of the pandemic, we have to find other ways to show and share the love, but not go and keep the same family gatherings like what we normally do.”

The VI Legislator said he has more activities planned before the Christmas holiday, however, will be taking a more targeted approach at identifying families who are needy.
