See Every Look From Christian Dior Fall/Winter 2021 Haute Couture

See Every Look From Christian Dior Fall/Winter 2021 Haute Couture

The French maison returns to Paris for its Haute Couture collection.

Christian Dior's return to the Haute Couture runway is marked by the maison's commitment to craft. This season, the focus is on embroidery-from the stitches of the tapestries that lined the walls of the Musée Rodin for the runway show to the delicate lace and feathered details that cover the goddess-like gowns.

After staging Dior's Cruise 2022 collection in Athens, Greece, Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri comes home to Paris for the Haute Couture runway. But not without taking inspiration from the Sala dei Ricami in Rome’s Palazzo Colonna, where richly patterned tapestries adorn the space. Artist Eva Jospin explores similar themes of nature in her own work, "Chambre de Soie," that decorates the show's set and complements the printed silk pieces in the collection.

The silhouettes stick to Chiuri's modernization of the Bar suit, with nipped-in waists and full skirts, alongside flowing gowns and tailored separates. Outerwear is an unexpected star of the Fall/Winter 2021 Haute Couture collection, with cape-like trench coats bringing volume and color to the lineup.

As Dior's return to in-person runways, the show welcomes back the fashion set with the familiarity of its signature shapes, appreciation for craft, and empowering style. See the full collection:
