Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell explains the abuse of power used by Democrats to try to impeach not only a siting president but any citizen that is potentially a presidency candidate. If it was legal, the Senate could eliminate any future candidate they do not want to win the future election. If it was legal, what could we say against dictators that prevent their opposition from running against them?
Despite voting to acquit former President Donald Trump of inciting the January 6 riot, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said that there was no question that Trump was responsible for provoking the riot and said the Senate cannot impeach a President that is not in office.
