Self-Isolate! Patrons At Four Clubs On Tortola Possibly Exposed To COVID-19
The Government of the Virgin Islands has cautioned patrons of four well-known nightclubs to self-isolate, as they may have been in contact with a positive Coronavirus case.
In a bulletin issued earlier today, June 28, the Public Health Unit of the Ministry of Health and Social Development said they are actively looking for persons who visited the following clubs.
Club Aqua between 8 pm and 10 pm, Club Crystals between 10 pm and 12 pm, Deuces from 11 pm to closing all on Sunday, June 20, 2021, and on Friday, June 18 at Island Sizzle.
“All persons who have attended the following events are asked to contact the Department at 468-4936 to provide their names for contact tracing and testing for COVID-19,” the bulletin said.
It added, “Persons who have attended these locations at the specified times are asked to self-isolate. Testing for these individuals will be administered on day 10, post-exposure. Let’s work together to avoid community spread of COVID-19 by contacting the Department and self-isolating if you think you were exposed at one of these locations.”
As per the last official numbers, the total COVID-19 cases in the territory on June 24 was 13.
