Shabree Frett coronated as miss universe BVI 2020

Miss Shabree Frett was crowned Miss Universe BVI 2020, in a coronation ceremony held last evening.
Frett will represent the Territory of the Virgin Islands in this year’s upcoming Miss Universe competition.

Shabree Frett is described as a compassionate and determined 24-year-old, who has a passion for helping others.

In her passion to help others, Frett has established two platforms in hopes to inspire and assist others in her community. One of the platforms are B3 You, which is a social media platform that posts daily content that encourages self-love, self-confidence and self-care. The other is Lend A Hand BVI Organization, which partners with the Family Support Network (FSN), to assist two families in the community annually.

Frett obtained a Bachelors of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders (Speech Pathology) from the Alabama A&M University. She is currently works as an Executive Assistant at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College.

Frett expressed how she felt to be crowned the next Miss Universe BVI.

She said “Being crowned Miss Universe BVI feels like a dream come true. I am ecstatic and grateful for this opportunity where I can represent our beautiful Territory and use this platform to help others on a larger scale.”

In 2019, Miss Shabree Frett competed in the Miss BVI pageant and walked away with the first runner-up position.
