'Slight chance of showers' today- DDM

After rain and a heavy thunderstorm late yesterday, July 25, 2021, the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has said there is a slight chance of showers today.

According to DDM, on its Facebook page, a dominant surface high-pressure system will be the main weather feature affecting conditions across the area for the next 24 hours.

"Meanwhile, a relatively dry lower atmosphere along with Saharan dust will continue to inhibit any significant shower development," DDM said.
