Steven Spencer takes BVITB's ‘Junior Chef beyond the Plate’ title

Steven Spencer is the winner of the BVI Tourist Board and Film Commission Junior Chef beyond the Plate competition 2022.

Spencer was one of three to have advanced to the finals held last night, June 18, 2022, at the Craft Alive Village, Road Town, Tortola.

The other two were two others, Kavon Kisnasammy who placed 2nd and Aszeeke Olliver who placed 3rd.

Spencer's stewed liver on seasoned rice garnished with vegetables, won the four-man panel of judges over to take the highest votes.

Among those present to join in the celebrations were Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr the Honourable Natalio D Wheatley (R7), Junior Minister for Tourism Honourable Alvera Maduro-Caines (R6), Director for the BVITB Mr Clive McCoy along with Chairman of the Board of directors of the BVITB, Mrs Kenisha P. Sprauve among others.
