The Moscow Stock Exchange prohibits foreign investors from selling securities

As of today, the Central Bank of Russia imposes a temporary ban on brokers conducting securities sales on the Moscow Stock Exchange held by foreign investors.
The Bank of Russia has banned brokers from selling securities by non-residents starting today in a bid to shield the nation’s assets from sweeping Western sanctions that include penalties on the central bank.
