These Magnificent Moon Lanterns Will Light Up Your Home Like Never Before

These Magnificent Moon Lanterns Will Light Up Your Home Like Never Before

Enjoy the beauty of a full moon from the comfort of your living room.

What's prettier than looking up at a bright full moon on a crisp autumn night? Now you can recreate the magnificent effect inside your own home thanks to ACORN Studio, a Taiwanese design company that has designed these beautiful lanterns that resemble the moon.

Unsurprisingly, the so-called Luna lamps, available in five different sizes ranging from 3.2 to 23.6 inches in diameter, have been met with an enthusiastic response. Back in 2015, ACORN Studio took to Indiegogo to raise money to produce the lamps, and exceeded its goal in just 71 hours.

Watch these magical lanterns in action:

The Lunas are lit with LED lights hidden inside their fiberglass structures. Just imagine how delighted your kids would be to trade their night lights for one of these spectacular lanterns! Or, buy one for yourself and cozy up with a good book next to the glowing orb.

The lamps are available on the ACORN Studio website, and range from $80 for the mini model to $910 for the largest.

There are also similar, less expensive versions out there, like the Moon Light from TheApolloBox.com, which comes in three sizes with its own wood base.
