Tire slasher caught on camera @ Trellis Bay

A man has been caught on camera criminally and maliciously damaging the property of another man on Beef Island.
According to reports reaching our newsroom, a man returned from work on Scrub Island yesterday afternoon, September 22, 2020, to discover that all the tires on his vehicle he left parked on Trellis Bay were slashed.

The matter was reported to police who reportedly obtained CCTV footage of the area.

According to a source close to the invesigation, video recording showed a vehicle drive up to the parked vehicle and a man disembarked and proceeded to walk around the parked vehicle.

The man then proceeded to damage the tires with an instrument that he pocketed before fleeing the scene.

Up to press time; however, no one was held for the crime.
