Tis the season for giving: CCT gives back to community

For its annual Christmas promotions, CCT is giving customers deals on its services, prizes, and giveaways to help residents ring in the season with much cheer. Starting last week, CCT's 12 Days of Christmas is giving residents across the Virgin Islands an opportunity to win premium phones, accessories, and CCT services.

CCT has also partnered with many VI businesses that have donated gift vouchers for CCT's 12 Days of Christmas activities. Companies include Leverick Bay, Seven at the Pier, Nova Vita, Hike BVI, Loose Mongoose, Caribbean Cellars, Trellis Bay Market, Virgin Med Spa, and CTL Home Centre.

On Sunday, CCT Santa stopped by the Flagship store and was met by scores of children that were delighted to receive various gifts and encouragement.

The company's annual gift drive for children will be in Virgin Gorda on Thursday for the Virgin Gorda store's Customer Appreciation Day.

Shopping for FSN!

On Tuesday, CCT staff and brand ambassadors extended their Christmas giving to the Family Support Network (FSN) by stocking the non-profit organisation's pantry through a competitive supermarket dash. Team members from CCT, 284 Media and brand ambassadors raced through the aisles of One Mart Superstore, filling their carts with non-perishable items that were all donated to FSN.

After the race, 284 Media's Ronn A. Grant and Jhaka Wooding were announced as winners, coming in just eight dollars under the $200 budget. Their closest competitors, Vielka Soto Thomas and Nyeisha Young from CCT's Retail Sales team were next, over budget by five dollars.

The competition winners received $100 CCT Cash and lunch at The Pub. Brand Ambassador DJ Carly and Mac Milli came in third, followed by CCT's Field Technicians, Val John and Nevron Francis.

Acknowledging CCT's support to FSN over the years through the donation of phone service for FSN's emergency hotline, the organisation's President, Judith M. Charles, added, "At this time of the year, when giving is so important, especially giving from the heart is so important, we are thankful to CCT for all that they have given to us and hopefully will continue to bless us with."

Prizes & giveaways

Throughout the week, CCT will continue giving various prizes and giveaways on air with ZROD 103.7FM at 8:30 AM on Friday and daily on FUZE 106.9FM at 5:30 PM with Brand Ambassador Ricki Richardson. Richardson will be around Tortola throughout the week spreading holiday cheer with even more CCT giveaways.

On Thursday, CCT will start its two-day customer appreciation event with treats, giveaways, and gifts for children at its Virgin Gorda store and on Friday at the Flagship Store on Tortola.

On Friday, the public is invited to the Flagship Store to meet CCT's brand ambassadors and participate in live challenges to win phones, accessories, CCT Cash, and more. The two-day customer appreciation activities will end on Friday with a $5,000 cash giveaway to CCT customers who have topped up their phones, signed up for a new CCT service, or paid up their current bill within December.

To follow along with CCT's 12 Days of Christmas, stay tuned to CCT Live, 284 Media on Facebook, local radio stations, and CCT's social channels.
