TRC wins 2020 Regulator of the Year Award

On March 28, 2021, at the BVI Finance Awards, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) emerged the winner of the Regulator of the Year Award.

It was a gratifying evening as the ceremony recognised financial institutions across the Virgin Islands for their excellent works.

Chief Executive Officer, Mr Guy L. Malone, commented, "At the Commission, we are thrilled to have won this gracious award. Having such worthy contenders, we believe it is imperative to do right by this recognition. The Commission accepts this award with pride."

The Commission's mission is to enable and facilitate adequate telecommunications infrastructure and services to ensure the long term benefit to the residents and businesses in the Virgin Islands.

Mr Malone added, "We look forward to upholding these very values that have allowed us to win this award."

The Board of Commissioners and the staff of the Commission express sincere thanks to everyone who recognised the Commission’s commitment to service.
