President-elect Donald Trump revealed on Thursday that he has chosen Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an environmental activist known for his stance against vaccines, to head the Department of Health and Human Services, the chief health authority in the United States.
"The well-being and protection of all Americans is the foremost responsibility of any government, and HHS will significantly contribute to safeguarding everyone from dangerous chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have exacerbated the serious health crisis in this nation," Trump stated in a social media post.
