Turkish Student Arrested for Using AI to Cheat in University Exam

Turkish authorities have arrested a student in Isparta for using a makeshift AI device to cheat during a university entrance exam. The student used a camera hidden as a shirt button and a router in their shoe to connect to AI software. Another accomplice was also detained.
In Isparta, Turkey, a student has been arrested for using an improvised device connected to artificial intelligence software to cheat in a university entrance exam.

The student was noticed acting suspiciously during the test and was detained by police.

The individual was formally arrested and sent to jail pending trial.

Another person assisting the student was also detained.

Police released a video demonstrating the setup, which included a camera disguised as a shirt button and linked to AI software via a router hidden in the shoe.

This system allowed the AI to generate correct answers, which were relayed through an earpiece.
