Guy Mukendi, 39, from south London, has been sentenced to four years and three months in prison after being convicted of removing a condom without consent during sex.

The conviction, which occurred on April 2 at the Inner London Crown Court, marks a significant legal milestone as non-consensual condom removal, known as 'stealthing,' is classified as rape in England and Wales.

Mukendi was arrested in May of the previous year following a sexual assault report from a young woman in Brixton.

Despite his denial, police built a strong case leading to his conviction.

London's Metropolitan Police emphasized their commitment to pursuing justice for victims of this under-reported crime.
