UK Woman Uses Samurai Sword in Neighbor Dispute Over Dog Poop: Sentenced to Community Service

A UK woman, Rebecca Lowe, pulled out a samurai sword during an argument with her neighbors over dog poo.
The neighbors had not cleaned up after their pet, and an altercation ensued.

During the argument, Ms. Lowe was physically assaulted, and in response, she brandished the sword.

The police arrived and charged her with possession of an offensive weapon.

She was sentenced to community service and rehabilitation.

A woman named Ms. Lowe was sentenced to 12 months of community service, 20 days of rehabilitation, 234 pounds (Rs 24,000) in costs, and a victim surcharge after being involved in an incident where she brandished a sword at her attacker on her doorstep, as reported by Metro.

Her neighbors were warned by the police.

The judge acknowledged that Ms. Lowe was attacked but advised her to have kept the sword at home instead.

Ms. Lowe's previous offense was carrying a nine-inch kitchen knife in public, which occurred when her then-partner confronted a 16-year-old boy who allegedly smashed her car window.

The boy ran away, leaving him distressed, according to his mother.
