Undefeated Moorings & Republic Bank play for volleyball titles tonight

After impressively playing unbeaten in the Group Stage of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (DYAS) Industrial Volleyball League, Moorings Sea Rangers and Republic Bank Blue Thunder will be looking to not only end the league with an unblemished record but as champions in their respective groups this evening, Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

Moorings Sea Rangers will play Game On at 8:30 PM in the Group A Championship while Republic Bank Blue Thunder will meet ATU Serve-Vivors in the Group B Championship game from 7:30 PM.

Game On are in the finals at the expense of the previously unbeaten RVIP Defenders who they eliminated on December 1, 2022.

ATU kicked out a valiant Harney’s Industry Setters in the playoffs, also on December 1, 2022, to reach the Championships.


Moorings Sea Rangers will play Game On at 8:30 PM in the Group A Championship while Republic Bank Blue Thunder will meet ATU Serve-Vivors in the Group B Championship game from 7:30 PM.

Third place games from 6:30 PM

Meanwhile, the third-place games will be contested from 6:30 PM.

Harney's Industry Setters will play TMF Bombers and RVIP Defenders will be challenged by ESHS Rams.

The closing ceremony will be held immediately after the final championship game.

A small fee will be collected for entry to this evening’s games at Multi-Purpose Sports Complex. Adults and children over 12 years of age will have to pay $2.00 while children 5-11 years of age will be charged $1.00.
