UPDATE: 6 more recover as VI down to 10 active COVID-19 cases

Recoveries from COVID-19 in the Virgin Islands continue, as there are now 10 active cases in the Territory, according to the latest official update by the Government of the Virgin Islands today, April 14, 2021.

It was only yesterday, April 13, 2021, that Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) had announced that the VI had 16 active cases since 4 had recovered since the last update given on April 8, 2021.

According to the Territory's Epidemiological Summary of April 13, 2021; however, there are actually 10 active cases of COVID-19 in the territory.

7 of the cases are on Tortola and 3 on vessels at undisclosed locations.

This means that of the 187 cases recorded in the territory, there have been 176 recoveries. One person died of the virus last year, 2020.

33, 578 persons have been tested for the virus at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital Laboratory.

According to the Territory's Epidemiological Summary of April 13, 2021, there are actually 10 active cases of COVID-19 in the territory.

The Virgin Islands now has 16 active cases of COVID-19, with 4 persons recovering since the last update of April 8, 2021.
