UPDATE: RVIPF Officer charged with indecent assault of minor
A police Officer attached to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has been officially charged for Indecent Assault of a minor according to information coming out of the force.
The RVIPF says that due to the sensitive nature of the incident, information on the officer’s details will not be released at this time.
“This is a serious allegation, and the officer has been charged and will face the judicial process. It would be inappropriate to make any further comment at this stage,” Commissioner of Police Mark Collins stated.
The officer in question is being held in custody pending his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, November 29, 2021.
