Vehicles collide on James Walter Francis Drive
Information coming into Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) is that sometime around 10:00 pm on the evening of Friday, May 12, 2023, a vehicle appears to have collided with another on the westbound carriageway of James Walter Francis Drive in the vicinity of the Moorings opposite the Pasea Place building on Tortola.
Sources indicated that it remains unclear if anyone was injured in the accident, however, one vehicle was seen extensively damaged along the carriageway.
While details remain sketchy as to the cause of the accident, as a result of the collision, the eastbound lane of the carriageway had to be temporarily converted into two lanes to make way for traffic.
