VG Summer Jam 2022 C/Ship finals starts tonight

Summer Jam 2022 Championship Basketball action is set tonight, Saturday, November 12, 2022, on Virgin Gorda at the Jeffery Caines Arena where teams will clash for the 2022 title in a best-of-five playoff.

League Assistant, West Stephens speaking to Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) said the games tonight will be a thrilling one for basketball fans.

“It’s going to be an exciting championship, we have the two top teams in the leagues, Set it off versus Up 2 Da Time,” Stevens told our news center.


While Speedy’s Ferry was originally set to operate a ferry service from VG to Beef Island from 12:20 am following the games, that time has now been delayed to 01:30am.

8:00pm & 10:00pm game times

In the C Divisions, ‘On a Mission' will take on ‘Just in Time’ at 8.00 pm ahead of A Division's ‘Set it off’ taking on ‘Up 2 Da Time’ at 10:00 pm.

Admission to the games is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children under 12.

Mr Stevens added that persons should make an effort to come out for the hated battles between teams in both divisions as two other teams will also battle it out next Friday and these are ‘Time to work’ and ‘Jr Skillful ballers.”
