VI athlete competes in World U20 Championships in Cali today
At least three persons were seriously injured in an accident that involved a motor scooter on James Walter Francis Drive near Treasure Isle this morning, August 1, 2022.
According to reports, the mishap took place after 3:00 am on the east-bound carriageway.
Reports are that two of the persons injured were pillion riders on the same motor scooter involved in the accident.
Virgin Islands News Online was told by sources on the scene that one of the injured suffered serious head injuries, including to one of their eyes.
The injured were taken to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital by ambulance.
It is unclear the circumstances surrounding the accident.
